The Cotswold Tweed Co welcomes an exciting collection of stylish country classics by luxury heritage brand, Alan Paine. Since its beginnings, in 1907 when it was founded by William Paine, the brand has grown from strength to strength - becoming known for their sumptuous knits and country-inspired clothing.
Teaching himself to knit as a hobby, it is rumoured that William Paine invented the cable-knit jumper! While this is only speculation, he certainly developed some of the very first cable-knit sweaters ever produced, which he sold to local cricket clubs. Today the company offers our clients a combination of stylish, functional and quality country-inspired pieces at affordable prices.
The Combrook Ladies tweed breeks made from a soft rich blend of pure wool tweed for a naturally hard-wearing warm pair of country breeks.
