The Cotswold Tweed Co welcomes an exciting collection of stylish country classics by luxury heritage brand, Alan Paine. Since its beginnings, in 1907 when it was founded by William Paine, the brand has grown from strength to strength - becoming known for their sumptuous knits and country-inspired clothing.
Teaching himself to knit as a hobby, it is rumoured that William Paine invented the cable-knit jumper! While this is only speculation, he certainly developed some of the very first cable-knit sweaters ever produced, which he sold to local cricket clubs. Today the company offers our clients a combination of stylish, functional and quality country-inspired pieces at affordable prices.
The Combrook Waterproof Field Coat has the functionality of a field jacket with an elegant and more feminine coat-shape, meaning it wouldn't look out of place on a trip into town.
With an array of useful pockets, the waterproof windbreaker cuffs prevent any gusts of wind rushing through the sleeves. With the ever-present unpredictable weather, this classic yet contemporary tweed jacket is a must-have piece for all seasons.
