The Cotswold Tweed Co welcomes an exciting collection of stylish country classics by luxury heritage brand, Alan Paine. Since its beginnings, in 1907 when it was founded by William Paine, the brand has grown from strength to strength - becoming known for their sumptuous knits and country-inspired clothing.
Teaching himself to knit as a hobby, it is rumoured that William Paine invented the cable-knit jumper! While this is only speculation, he certainly developed some of the very first cable-knit sweaters ever produced, which he sold to local cricket clubs. Today the company offers our clients a combination of stylish, functional and quality country-inspired pieces at affordable prices.
The Combrook Shooting Waistcoat is a classicaly designed technical Ladies shooting waistcoat made from pure wool tweed with a water repellent finish.
We love the attention to detail on this piece, especially the faux suede shoulder panels to help aid gun mount and especially the spacious cartridge pockets. This waistcoat is perfect on and off the field, offering practicality with style, why compromise when you don't need too!
